The international scientific symposium “Bishop Dionizije Njaradi: life and work” was held on November 30 in Ruski Krstur and on December 1 in Novi Sad on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Bishop Njaradi (1874-1940).
The symposium dedicated to the life and work of Bishop Dr. Dionizije Njaradi began in the Theological Hall at 3 p.m. in the presence of guests, speakers and visitors. On the first day, scientists, professors, historians, researchers from Croatia, Slovakia, Italy (Rome), Ukraine, Macedonia and Serbia presented their works. During that time, an exhibition dedicated to Bishop Njaradi was held in the Caritas Hall.
The second day of the symposium was held at the Institute for Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina in Novi Sad. Three papers were presented online, and the event then concluded with a discussion between scientists and a remembrance of Dr. Dionizije Njaradi, who was born in Ruski Krstur.
