On Monday, October 23, “Ruske slovo” and the Institute for Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina presented their latest publications at the 66th International Book Fair in Belgrade.
During the event, the Institute introduced the “English-Rusyn Dictionary,” a highly important lexicography project for the Ruthenian community authored by Prof. Dr. Mihajlo Fejsa, MSc Marina Šlemender, and MSc Slavica Čeljovski. Prof. Dr. Mihajlo Fejsa discussed the process of writing the book as well as automated translation from one language to another. He also mentioned that this dictionary has been approved for usage in educational practices by the Institute of Pedagogy in Vojvodina. The promotion was held at the stand of the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration, and National Minorities – National Communities.
