Through the project of digitization of the oldest church registers of Greek Catholic church communities (registers of births / baptisms, marriages and deaths older than one hundred years) we keep very important data about our community which are invaluable for research and presentation of history and roots of the Ruthenian community. . As part of this project, the registry books in Kucura, Stari Vrbas, Novi Sad, Đurđevo, Sremska Mitrovica, Šid have been digitized.
The digitized registries that you can view here are operational copies, lower resolutions due to the large amount of material that has been digitized. If you are interested in certain data, you can contact us by e-mail: office@zavod.rs and send a request for viewing certain digitized registry books in higher resolution.
In the coming period, the Institute will focus on finding additional funding through projects for copying data from digitized registry books to facilitate data retrieval.
