The Institute for Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina currently shares premises with the NIU “Ruske Slovo”, however, that will soon change.
According to the plan, the house at 15 Matica Srpska street in Novi Sad should become the Institute’s new headquarters in a few months. Works on the renovation of the building began at the end of March last year, and their completion is expected this April, followed by the ceremonial opening.
Financial resources for the adaptation of the building were provided by the Provincial Government and the National Council of Ruthenians. Also, the Provincial Government has shown its readiness to provide additional funds for smaller works related to the arrangement of the exterior space. The deadline for the realization of funds from the Provincial Government is April 3 this year.
