The final preparations for the board game “Settling the Wasteland Ruski Krstur” are in progress at the Vojvodina Ruthenian Culture Institute.
The essence of the game is to learn about Rusyn culture, tradition, folklore, and history while having fun. The game is adapted to all ages, and the goal is cooperation through which all players would reach the Wasteland together.
“We believe that this way of communicating with young people will contribute to educating and socializing young Rusyns with each other, but also that it will attract young people from outside our community and allow them to learn something about us,” said the Director of the Institute Saša Sabadoš. In this way, we actualize the idea of bringing Rusyn culture and history closer to new generations. The project is being finalized with the help of the Ministry of Culture and the city of Novi Sad.
