In the Ceremonial Hall of Matica Srpska, on April 25, the promotion of the capital works of Ruthenian lexicography – the Dictionary of Computer Terminology by Prof. Dr. Mihajla Fejsa, Orthography of the Ruthenian language with an orthographic dictionary by prof. Dr. Mihajla Fejse and MSc Helena Međeši and the English-Rusyn dictionary by prof. Dr. Mihajlo Fejsa and associates, marked the 100th anniversary of the publication of the first grammar of the Ruthenian language and the 110th anniversary of the birth of Professor Havrijil Nađ (April 17, 1913).
Those present were greeted by prof. Dr. Milan Micić, who pointed out that Matica Srpska was founded in 1826 and is approaching its jubilee – the celebration of two centuries of existence, and its goals and program were an example for the formation of similar institutions among other Slavic nations.
Paper on the first grammar in our language – Grammar of Bachvano – Ruthenian speech by Fr. Dr. Havrijil Kosteljnik was read by Blažena Homa Cvetković, and Prof. Dr. Mihajlo Fejsa spoke about Professor Nađ.
Computer terminology dictionary, Orthography of the Ruthenian language with an orthographic dictionary, and English-Rusyn dictionary were presented by prof. Đura Oros, Ph.D., Helena Međeši, Ph.D. and Mihajlo Ljikar, Ph.D. Irina Papuga from the Society for Ruthenian Language, Literature and Culture pointed out that the publication of books, whether in the field of language, literature, education or culture, is very important for Ruthenians. Mrs. Papuga sent words of support to the scientists, so that they would continue to write and create.
