Due to the current epidemiological situation, the 14th National Holiday of Ruthenians in the Republic of Serbia will be celebrated online, on Sunday, on January 17, 2020. on the official social networks of the Institute for Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina, the Second Program of Radio-Television of Vojvodina and the Third Network of Radio Novi Sad.

Since this year The Central ceremony was to be held live in Novi Sad, a ceremonial online program which was prepared for this occasion is dedicated to the most important points of connection of this city with the Ruthenians. It will present important institutions, places, events and persons related to the Ruthenians in Novi Sad: teachers and priests who preserved Ruthenian language and culture; Ruthenian institutions and organizations that have headquarters in Novi Sad; persons of Ruthenian origin who significantly participated in wider cultural, sports and other surroundings of Novi Sad. Also, this program will present the best performances from previous Central celebrations.
National holiday of Ruthenians in Serbia is organized by the Institute for Culture of Vojvodina Ruthenians from Novi Sad, with the support of the National Council of the Ruthenian National Minority, Radio-Television of Vojvodina – Program in Ruthenian language and the Parish of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Novi Sad.
