In order to preserve and continue the tradition of choral singing in the Ruthenian community as a significant part of its cultural heritage, it is necessary to work on the inventory and digitization of choral compositions. This project includes original choral songs and arrangements for female, male and mixed choirs, as well as children’s choirs. The material collected so far has been sorted by genre: folk, popular, spiritual and children’s compositions, and Christmas songs have been singled out as a particularly popular segment. The idea is for the choir compositions to be arranged and available to all interested choir leaders and other citizens.
