In our premises you can find the current selection of newspaper in Ruthenian language, dictionaries, monographs, fiction, bibliographies, biographies, catalogues, proceedings and other editions in Ruthenian language. A part of the fund is in Serbian, Ukrainian, Polish, Croatian, Slovak, Romanian and Hungarian.
Borrowing
Our library is accessible to everyone and its use is free. A membership card is required for borrowing books and audio-visual media.
A valid ID card or passport is required for registration.
The issued membership card is non-transferable to another person. A signature of one of the parents is required for minors.
Please always carry your membership card with you because borrowing the library material can only be done with a membership card.
You can borrow the following media at once:
6 books, 4 magazines, 2 CDs, 2 DVDs
Deadlines for returning the media:
4 weeks: book
2 weeks: newspaper, CD, DVD
Lexicons, dictionaries and the latest issues of the newspaper and magazines cannot be borrowed.
Deadline extension
The return date may be extended if the medium is not reserved for other users. The user is entitled to extend the repayment term maximum two times.

Reminders
Each user is solely responsible for respecting the deadlines. If the user does not comply with the deadline, the maximum of three reminders are sent. Then the last warning, which announces the exclusion from the library, follows.
Fees for lost and damaged
n case of loss or damage to the library material, the member is obliged to compensate for the loss.
Photocopying
It is possible to copy parts of the contents from the library material (books, magazines and newspapers) for personal use.
Copying CDs and DVDs is not allowed due to violation of copyright and this constitutes a criminal offence.
Library Rules
It is forbidden to smoke and bring food and drinks to the library. It is the responsibility of the visitors of the library to take care of their personal belongings and hygiene. Library employees are authorised to exclude from the library those who break the library rules.
