Together with experts from the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Vojvodina and the Museum of Vojvodina, in 2015 the Institute for Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina began working on the digitization of glass negative plates kept at the Parish of the Greek Catholic Church in Ruski Krstur. Glass negative plates were created in the photographic studio of Osif Budinski and later his son Jovgen. The entire fund was preserved and handed over to the parish by Jovgen’s daughter Irina Himmelsbach. Below you can find the so far digitized glass plates organized by galleries.
Some photographs, if we have received information from the narrators, have full signatures, and those whose signatures are too long have shortened versions of the signatures.
