Library Intro

The Library of the Institute

Collecting and keeping books and other publications at the Institute for the Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina began at the same time with the establishment of the Institute. This attitude toward the book has evolved from the need for the Ruthenian community to form a national library that will collect and take care of the library fund of interest for Ruthenians.

The Institute still strives to increase this book fund and continues to increase it with old and new titles which in its capacity will hopefully be called the National Library of Ruthenians in Vojvodina in the future. Therefore we receive donations and gifts in the form of publications that are in some way connected to Ruthenian community or multiculturalism.

Privacy and facility
During the events held in the Institute we perform audio and video documentation. If you disagree with using your photo, please let us know.

Facility
Free WiFi access.
Unfortunately, the facility is not fully accessible to people with disabilities - there is an access ramp only to the first floor.
For visitors with children - unfortunately the facility is not accessible for baby carriages, but there is a quiet place for breast-feeding and a corner with toys.
Pets are welcome.
