MISSION
Our mission is to achieve and affirm the excellence in the widest area of the culture of Ruthenians Vojvodina through research, mapping, evaluation, vaporisation, memorisation, archiving, systematisation, production, promotion, education, counselings and mediation in culture.
In this sense we cooperate with minority, majority and foreign professionals, organisations and institutions in such a way that we profile and empower human resources, institutions, resources and recipients of culture.
VISION
Our vision is Ruthenian culture recognisable in the widest circles for its excellence, in which all layers, from cultural elites to recipients, are involved.
COLLABORATION
The Institute wants to cooperate with those who have already found and provided the best in them in different cultural areas, and those whose time is coming. The assumption is that the Ruthenian culture already has excellent people and achievements. The aim of the Institute is to recognise this excellence, to code it, to preserve it and to present it to a wider audience. In this sense, the Institute will strive for the broadest forms of cooperation with the environment that is willing to meet, support, develop and embrace this excellence.
ACTIVITIES
We want to achieve excellence by research and consultation, mediating between the authors and the audience, empowering and enhancing the educational activities of the author’s work, as well as assisting the evaluation and vaporisation practices of criticism. Educational activities aim to raise the cultural level and connect the Ruthenian cultural system with a wider local, regional, provincial, national and European cultural system. In this regard, the Institute deals with issuing books, brochures, music books and publications, journals, catalogues, periodicals and sound recordings. By organising and systematising the cultural heritage of Ruthenians, we create the basis for presenting the cultural areas of Ruthenians in the Ruthenian and wider areas.
FINANCING
The Institute finances its regular activities from the funds of the Province, but also raises funds from donors and by applying to open calls by domestic and international funds.
INSTITUTIONAL PROFILE
The Institute has initiated a documentary-information, research and development, as well as cooperation program with international and local institutions that will be able to function productively in Ruthenian cultural system. The institution is not an institution that exists for itself, but an institution dimensioned according to the needs of participants in Ruthenian culture system. We comprehend the programs of the Institute in an active way, where it is our priority to use the recognised values for realisation of the best ones in our community, and to present what we have already achieved.
